Introducing The ASICS GEL-DS SKY SPEED 3, part of the Spring/Summer 2012 range. A lightweight race-inspired trainer for neutral runners. This versatile shoe is ideal for fast training or longer races, as well as for track training. The Gilled Mesh upper maximises airflow into the foot whilst keeping it comfortable and dry. The addition of Guidance Line technology decouples the tooling along the line of progression for enhanced gait efficiency, which helps make the most of the Impact Guidance System (IGS) that employs linked componentry that enhances the foot's natural gait from heel strike to toe-off. The Rearfoot and Forefoot GEL Cushioning System eases the shock experienced during the impact and toe-off phases. Strategically placed stretch Biomorphic Fit material on the upper helps to reduce buckling and the irritation associated with it. The Asymmetrical Lacing Design follows the shape of your foot to reduce the potential for irritation and provide improved comfort and fit.

Great for fast paced training and racing
I thought I'd try these out as I have never used lightweight shoes before. What a revelation!
I'm sure I run faster in these. They feel surprisingly cushioned despite being light weight.
The colour is bright and possibly not everyone's cup of tea, but I love it and have recieved comments on how trendy they look.

Excellent Shoe, improved my performance.
Received the shoes well within the expected delivery time, packed well in box. On opening I was very excited and put them straight on, they were very comfortable, supportive and extremely light. Despite these shoes being for running and cross training, they are extremely good for volleyball and I would recommend them for any indoor court sports. I am also a keen runner and found with my shoes my times were much better.
