they look fine and are lightweight. but, durability is low and support is minimum. people keeps asking me about these in the gym, testament to the fact that i can only use them for low activity/shock sessions indoors now, after only about 50-75 miles of running in.

I bought these shoes as a replacement for the Adidas Mana 5s I'd been using since the Spring, when I decided to transition to a more 'natural' running style. I got on really well with the Manas and eventually ran a marathon in them at the end of September. When it came to replacing them, I wasn't sure about the Mana 6 and 7 reviews I'd seen so took a look at the Mushas and liked what I read about them. The only slight concern I had was regarding the 8mm drop from heel to toe, but a number of reviews suggested the shoes felt 'flatter' than that.

On receipt, the Mushas felt a little heavier in the hand than the Manas, and quite a bit heavier than the New Balance Minimus Zeros I use for shorter runs. However, on the foot, there's no real difference to be felt, although the ultra light New Balances come into their own on uphill sections.
