Just Awesome.
I bought these boots after 7 years away form Salomon,after they decided to stop making the old X-adventure 7(the best boot ever),and i am soo glad i did.The first outing was 17 mile hike along a very up and down section of the South west coast path and they felt superb no hot spots,blisters ache's or pains.The following week we were of to Glencoe and a 3 day hike on the West highland way in reverse from Fort William to Bridge of Orchy and once again they simply breezed through rain sleet and snow, i simply cannot fault them and at long last i have found a worthy replacement for the Legendary X-adventure sevens(only time will tell if they are as hard wearing.So in my humble experience if you're foot is Salomon shaped you owe it to yourself to try these Awesome boots.

Avoid wet grass
Very comfortable and great boots in dry conditions. I have walked miles in them.

The first walk I did in very wet weather resulted in very wet and badly blistered feet. No bogs or wading was involved, just wet grass! The boots then stayed wet and took ages to dry with the result that they now smell rank and mouldly. Since then they leak even if you simply step in a puddle on the street.

So...if you are only going out in dry weather and are prepared to avoid wet grass and puddles, I would strongly recommend them otherwise buy some wellies.
