Very poor fit
I looked forward to receiving these and certainly on opening the package I was impressed by a sturdy looking boot with an attractive colour combo and good weight.

However I'll be returning them to amazon as they are sized extremely small. I am a size 5.5 UK but my toes were being pinched in size 39 EUR / 6 UK in these - and that was in stockinged feet, not wearing socks!

I reckon you must need to order one or one and a half sizes up to get a good fit. But I won't be going that route, and the reason is that the back of the boot moves a lot up and down against the heel. I think half an hour of wearing these and my heels would be rubbed raw.

The search for a pair of attractive winter boots which fit continues!

Looked lovely boots on arrival. But when I tried them on, wearing a thin pair of tights, they were way to small. I wear a size 3/4 depending on width of fitting. Boots seemed wide enough but very very small. I ordered a 4 and would have needed at least a five to wear with thick socks, but the heel slipped up and down at the back and Im sure it would have been blister city within a few hours of wear. Sadly returning and ordering another make/model.

Surprisingly good quality
Karrimor is the house brand of Sport Direct, therefore might not always be the best available in term of quality. I must admit that i bought these boots because of the discount and I needed something relatively waterproof and light and I needed it quickly as i was about to go on holiday.

I was pleasantly surprised when the ordered boots arrived less than 18 hours after ordering them and even more surprised at the quality, and most important comfort, of the boots. They are nicely finished, appear to be robust, light and extremely comfortable. The fitting (size 8) is true, not too big as some boots can be and just wide enough to accomodate my slightly broad feet. The fleece lining is well fitted and warm and the sole is ergonomic. I wonder if I should buy another pair and use them as slippers?. In a nutshell: much better than expected. Thank you.

Comfy but cosy.
I recieved these boots just today so I haven't had a chance to properly try them in the foul winter weather we get here. They look sturdy with a great track on the sole for grip, and they feel fantastically comfortable-- once I got them on. They are a snug fit and quite tough to get into. Thankfully there is a tab at the back of the boot to help pull them on and I can only hope that they loosen up a little with wear.

Nice boots but not good in snow and ice.

It snowed last week where i live, putting down about 5 inches, i had to go out, so wore these boots,and from the first step i was slipping and sliding all over the place in them, very little traction at all. I thought i'd give them another try after it froze the snow, but, no, still slipping and sliding with every step. So, all in all, comfy, nice boot, will keep your feet dry and warm, but not good on snow, slush or ice. They gave me no confidence to walk in those weather conditions.
