Super comfortable, look good
A great pair of sandals. Wore these regularly last summer in all sorts of terrain (city, mountains, lakes) with no problems. A couple of notes of caution:

First, depending on the position of your little toe in relation to the rest of your foot, there's a chance it could poke out of the hole on the outside of the sandal! My little toes are quite small and stick up/out a bit (maybe I'm a freak?!) and they just stay inside the sandals, but only by the tip of my toe!

And second, and relevant to more people I imagine, the straps slacken off a bit over time and there isn't really any way to tighten the sandal up more. Despite all the straps and laces you can see over the top/front of the sandal, they don't really do much because the lace is elastic (and pretty stretchy elastic at that). The side strap just pulls on the elastic, so you can tighten it fully and it doesn't really apply any more grip around the foot. So, the upshot is that the fit depends mostly on...

Comfortable but faulty manufacturing?
Bought these for our holiday last summer.
Have several pairs of Merrell shoes going back many years, as they never seem to wear out.
I wore these for three weeks solid. Very comfortable, nice design.
BUT, both the soles split from side to side. As it was both soles assumed it was a manufacturing fault so sent them back.
It was late summer so I got a refund. Cos if the next pair were faulty in the same way I wouldn't find out until this summer and it would be too late for a refund.
Other reviews would suggest that I wasn't the only one to experience quality issues.
Disappointing for a usually excellent brand.

Comfortable and light
Great pair of sandals amazingly light and very comfortable Only down side is the price but you get what you pay for. Very happy with them

BADLY SIZED AND POOR QUALITY
Really dissapointed, i have been buying Timberland for 10 years and these sandals dont meet their usual standard. I take a 10.1/2 but going with the way my toes nearly stick over the front and can barely close the adjusting straps i would size them nearer a 9.1/2 or 10. Material used also looks cheap- i could have bought a pair of chinese made sandals of better quality for a quarter of the price. I would be returning them if i wasnt leaving the country tommorow.
