This 245g model provides a light shoe underfoot for increased speed and flexibility but still maintains a natural, form-fitting shoe. These offer a 3mm drop with slightly less cushioning than the Trailroc 245 keeping you closer to the ground.

Fresh out of the box and straight into 8 1/2 off-road miles without a hitch at all! These trainers were just comfortable from the start.

These are my first off-road trainers so didn't quite know what to expect but decided to give them a go following a favourable Runners World review. They are flatter/lower in the heel than 'normal' trainers and with less cushioning but that DOES let you feel your way on gravel etc. The grip feels good and there isnt really any sort of discomfort from small stones pushing up into your foot or anything like that.

If you're running 100% off road I would say these are perfect. I would say you just need to consider how much you deviate on to tarmac on your runs as the reduction in cushioning does make your tarmac stretches a little more wearing, but not hugely so.

Great shoes - 2nd trip out was for two hours with still no ill effects - fitted like a glove!!
