Does the job
New to jogging/running. Started up running wiith wrong foot wear then found the Mizuno website that asked lots of questions about me and the way I walked and ran. Alchemy 11
Great running shoes. I'm new to running and i bought some nike lunerglides as recommended by the expert at the running shop but had a pain in my right knee which slightly overpronates which has now gone since running with these mizunos. Also some good reviews on these trainers on YouTube. Mizuno web site has a a good link which helps you figure whats the best shoe for you Build/feet.

Good value but suffers against more expensive alternatives
I switched to the Mizuno Alchemy 11 6-months ago having run for the last 2 years in a succession of Asics Kayanos (15-17). The reason for the change was two-fold; firstly the Alchemy is decidedly cheaper than the Kayano, secondly I have had a great experience with the Mizuno Harrier 2 trail shoe and the Mizuno Kaze 4 spikes.

This is a stability shoe which should suit a moderate to severe over-pronator. It felt slightly lighter on my feet than the Asics, although as with any heavily cushioned show, it's still got more weight than most neutral trainers.

I was expecting a tighter fit than the famously broad Kayano but did find quite a lot of lateral movement in the toe box. This didn't cause huge problems other than a bit of rubbing at the end of my toes.

To be honest, running in this shoe is not as pleasant as running in the Asics but I've still put away a few hundred miles without injury, which is the main point of a motion control shoe. I don't feel,...
