Lightweight. Comfortable to both walk and run in. Might take a while to adjust to if you're not used to walking barefoot or running with a front foot strike. I have wanted a pair of Vibram, running shoes for ages. I decided on purchasing a pair, along with new excercise clothes. They arrived with much anticipation and excitment. On first impressions, when I removed them from the box, it felt like I was recieving an engagement ring...lol!

I get the idea that they are supposed to mimick or resemble as close as possible 'bare foot running', but I think in practical terms, when running you don't have time to be looking and checking what is on the ground in front of you.

It mentions that you have to avoid objects such as:- stones, twigs etc, etc and so forth, whilst wearing them. Whereas, if they were a normal pair of running shoes/trainers you would not have to worry about avoiding these objects so much in order to avoid imminent injury or danger to ones person.
