Fantastic hard wearing boots
I bought these after trying on a sample by the owner of Tuffa at a friends house about seven years ago - they are still going strong. I bought another pair for when these run out, but they are like ever ready batteries, they go on and on and on. Worn them for all purposes - from work to walking the springy! I would recommend these to anyone who wants comfortable strong and hard wearing beauties. I have to say they have doubled in price since first buying these, but they are worth every penny!

Last for ages
I have these boots and they last ages. I have been tramping around fields, snow, mud and ice with them and they haven't even got a dent in them! If you want a good, solid pair of outdoor boots that look good too then these are for you. They do tend to be generous with the sizing but that's ok if you are wearing thick socks or tucking trousers in them. It is possible to ride in them as well even though they don't have the proper riding sole, like Tuffa's Country Rider. Very nice looking but not waterproof!
These required about a week's worth of wearing in, which resulted in some blisters but eventually made them very comfortable. They look very nice too. The only thing is that they aren't in the slightest bit waterproof, which was a nasty shock when the rain came! Hi-Tec Altitude walking boot.
I purchased these boots not for walking but for work. I am a gardener and needed good waterproof boots, not heavy, with good grip on a variety of surfaces.
I have worn them for 5/6 days a week since February and have no complaints.
They have proved to be an excellent purchase, so much so that I am buying a second pair for when these wear out.
I also use when walking dogs on the moors, in woodlands etc.

The upper sides where contact with leg above the ankle is very stiff and on first usage made legs sore. For subsequent wearings I used thicker socks rolled down below this point, which protected my legs and enabled the boots to become more flexible and
comfortable. Aside from this little teething problem the boots stack up to their maker`s claims, and would buy again.
