Sizing hit and miss
I haven't really made up my mind about these yet, only had them a week, I think I am going to like them, but it's very difficult to know if I've bought the right size, I measured as told and after lots of thought bought these but still can't decide if a bigger size would have been better, although that wouldn't have been possible as the ladies only went up to a size 42 which is what I bought, so I guess it would have to be a men's pair that I would need to buy. They certainly don't keep your feet warm so I've only worn them when exercising indoors, but I hope to be able to do a daily walk in them when it gets warmer.

Very comfortable when running. Feet feel "well protected".
Only downside is it takes a while to get my feet into the trainers due to the 5 separate fingers. This is not a product issue,
just need to practice putting them on.

I ran a marathon in these
First of all I don't advocate barefoot running for everyone but it has revolutionized my running.
I've broken my ankle twice and had the misfortune not to realise the 1st time...this resulted in a large deposit of grizzle hampering my recovery from the second break. I ended up having keyhole surgery and being told I would need this repeatedly over the years.

Received these trainers quickly and well packaged. Unfortunately I have a high instep and this design wasn't for me, as couldn't get them on! I contacted the seller and they sent me an email back straight away, and I sent them back to the seller. Comfort at last
The first time i saw them in the box i thought they would be the oddest shoes i'd ever worn.
And they are, every time i wear them someone looks at me like i'm a big lizard or something in the middle of the street.

But:
1) They are really really comfortable. Seriously they feel amazing... like there's nothing there but a cloud to walk on
2) I actually feel like i can run faster then i ever did with running shoes, and i feel lighter
3) Every time i ran in running shoes after a couple of times i would end up with hip and knee pain. Thats why i quit running for a couple of months. Somehow running with these shoes i get NO more pain. Nothing. Nada. Running is a pleasure again.

I do have to add some things:
1.1 It was really tricky to get them on the first time, my toes seem to have a slightly different shape then the ones designed for them in the shoes
1.2 I had to learn how to walk differently, on the front side of the foot, because...

Perfect running footwear
This is my 2nd pair of fivefingers. I wanted something that would keep my feet warmer in chilly English weather and that looked good. These fit the bill on both counts.

I love the retro styling and they are a dream to run in. Hopefully they will help prevent a occurrence of Plantar Fasciitis, which stopped me running in the past.

They are a little awkward to put on at first, but it becomes easier each time.

For sizing, it's worth checking the fivefingers website on how to get the best fit before you order.

They do take some getting used to, especially if you're not used to being barefoot, but they are a real pleasure to run in. The tops won't keep out water, as I found on a rainy day running though puddles, but they do feet my feet much warmer than the fivefingers classic.

Fab trainer
These trainers are wonderful, I use them for SUP (stand up paddling ) and sea swimming, but they are also good at the gym or lazing around the garden, just buy them, they're Greeeaaat.....

Shoe heaven
I was told I should get some of these funky shoes for running, so I did.
Sizing wasnt too much of a problem, all I needed was a tape measure and a foot, entered it on the manufacurers website, and hey presto i knew what size to get... Basically was the same as my previous running shoes.
Just completed my first run, forgot about the recommendations for taking it easy to get used to them, and did a 5km run at 14kph, to be fair, they dont take much to get used to as they hug the feet really well, strange sensation first off having the toes separated, but it felt very natural on the run.
Would I recommend them? Yes.. Buy them now!
