fantastic boots
bought these boots for my wife as we were going skiing in switzerland, boots were brilliant! they were warm, comfortable (could walk for miles in them,) waterproof (remember this is freezing snow that they were used in -8 to -27! they remained totally waterproof in these conditions, remember they are SNOW boots, not WATER boots)

all in all they were a fantastic buy (i also bought a pair, but not from here so this review is on behalf of myself too)

if you want a great set of snow boots id highly recommend them, i cannot say how log they would last under constant use but for the week solid we used them they showed no signs of wear at all!

note - my wife found that she had to go up one size! i, on the other hand did not! the only thing i can think is the womans fitting might be slightly tighter than the mens

Good boots but you will need a much larger size than your normal size
I purchased these thinking they might be too big but in fact they are too small! I am normally a UK size 6.5 and I bought the size 8. I should have bought size 9. Very disappointed as apart from that, they are very comfy and light. Had to return them but of course, the larger sizes all sold out!

ice lock? You are having a laugh!
I work in Oslo and bought these boots on the strength of my Teva sandals and the grip I get in summer. There's a little disclaimer comes with the ice-lock technology - 'we can't guarantee it on all surfaces'. Well, here in Oslo it works fine on asphalt, concrete, wooden floors, tiled floors etc. Ice? I'm walking around like Bambi! The other issue is size - I used to take a UK 11 and now I'm up to UK 13 and these are not a wide fitting so a tad tight. Warm, they definitely are but I bought them to, as the marketing blurb says on the Teva website , stay off my butt. I have, just but it's only a matter of time. They get a ONE outta five with a `don't buy these' recommend!

Good looking well designed boot
I am a cyclist who needs to have practical boots that will look good at work. These do it. Can't be worn with a suit - but more than fine with chinos. I usually buy other walking boots - but find that the heels collapse after a year or so. Only had these a fortnight but they have a clever little fold down flexible sock element that reduces the force required to put them on - this makes them easier on and off - & I suspect that that this will elongate their life. My only negative was that I bought them in black which was my fault as there are plenty of colours to choose from - I made them look a little less sombre by buying some "Hiking boot laces Purple with lilac " - which stops them looking so funereal!

Survived a wintry weekend in Stockholm
I bought these boots for a weekend in Stockholm and I'm glad that I did. It was zero degrees and did not stop snowing the entire time I was there however my feet remained toasty warm and dry. They coped well with the snow although the grip wasn't quite enough for some slippy slush. They were great for sightseeing and proved to be very comfortable despite all of the walking done. The socks were a little tight at first making getting them on and off a little tricky (particularly at security) but have since loosened and I think they're a very cute feature. Only minor gripe is that the boots were advertised as a size 7 but the label on the boots describes them as a 6.5. As such I can only wear thin socks with them but they're so warm that don't need anything thicker. Definitely recommended.
