Introducing the new Fuji trail line, the GEL-FUJI TRAINER, part of the Autumn/Winter 2012 range. A lightweight off-road shoe combining comfort with a great ground feel, suitable for under-pronator and neutral runner. Featuring a slightly tougher SpEVA midsole adding extra bounce back capability and creates the direct ride that many trail runners love. This model features a Trail Specific Outsole for optimal uphill and downhill traction on all terrain types. The upper has a minimal construction to prevent water absorption.

• Visible Rearfoot GEL - The ASICS GEL system is based on a special kind of silicon that enables optimal shock absorption. GEL units are strategically placed in the midsole and designed to enable specific functions and positions.
• Trusstic System - A plastic bridge located under the arch which gives the shoe strength and stability without loss of flexibility.

Low-profile, well-cushioned, neat-fitting and comfortable performance trail shoe that is good enough for relatively low level fell-running. This model features a Rock Protection Plate, as well as a Trail Specific Outsole for optimal uphill and downhill traction on all terrain types. At last, comfortable trail shoes for wide feet
I always struggle to find shoes because of my wide feet - I normally take a 4E fitting. Finding road shoes is hard enough, but trail shoes have been impossible. I've been using Brooks Cascadia 6 but they give me blood blisters and black toenails. That I can live with, but the last couple of trail runs I've done have been complete mudfests, and the Brooks provided almost no grip, so I had to tiptoe for miles at a time.
