These were actually the second pair of these trainers I bought, the first lasted 15 months and I wore them whenever I had to walk anywhere for more than 10 minutes as I'm a bit of a power walker so pumps often end up being sore! Loved them so much that when they got a small hole in the toe and the material on the back was starting to get holes and rub, I bought them again. I wear them on the treadmill too, very comfy :)

Do-Win goodness
I'm switching from a powerlifiting style routine to olympic lifts. I've not used them for many sessions so far but I thought there's been enough of a difference to comment on to be worthy of a review.

I used to train in steeltoe-cap work boots; a more economic alternative to proper weight lifting shoes because my part-time work involved some moderate lifting of equipment. Though they did the job adequately, I felt restricted when doing squats and cleans in particular. The Do-wins combat this by giving you enough freedom near the shin of your foot but its strap gives you sturdy support from the midfoot to the toes. They've been great to squat and clean in, comfortable but sturdy. I was prepared to take a risk on these rather than the Adidas power perfect, because I didn't want to be paying extra for the brand.

I was wary of sizing because of another review. I still ordered a size 10 (I'm size 10 but I have wider feet so sometimes an 11), and they fit fine. Build...

Great for oly lifting
I usually wear a size 4.5 or 5 (UK ladies) and took a size 5 Do-Wins. At first I thought they may be a little big but actually, once they are laced up and strapped in, my feet don't move at all. Brilliant shoes. Highly recommended.
